The Salty Horror Film Festival needs your help. Funds need to be raised so that there is a festival of horror in Utah 2010. There is a chance for you to enter a film making contest only found in Utah and win instant entry into the Salty Horror Film Festival for competition.

How does the Bloody 72 work? Gather up at least 5 people on your team, pay the entry fee of $180, show up at 5 pm on a designated day and 72 hours later turn in your HORROR movie. Yes. There is only one genre in this competition. Science Fiction themed horror is also all right but we only want horror.

There are rules though. When your team shows up you will receive 5 components that MUST be in the short or it will be disqualified. You will have three days but three days is not very long to make good horror so use your time wisely.

50 percent of the proceeds from the entry fees will go back into the Bloody 72 for possible cash prizes. The other half of the proceeds for this fundraiser will go directly to pumping life into Utah’s first ever horror film festival, the Salty Horror Film Festival.
